Welcome to the Disability Employment, Inclusion & Leadership Forum

This event comes at a pertinent time, coinciding with the release of the Disability Royal Commission final report, which highlights the urgent need for action on disability employment. The Forum marks a major milestone in our collective efforts to advance disability employment, inclusion, and leadership across Australia. For the first time, the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO) is proud to join as a charity partner for the 2024 Disability Employment, Inclusion & Leadership Forum.


Our theme, "Beyond employment to career progression," encapsulates the essence of our discussions and deliberations over these important days. Together, we will explore innovative strategies and best practices aimed at creating meaningful career pathways for individuals with disabilities. This summit offers a unique opportunity to amplify voices, share experiences, and forge collaborations that will drive positive change in disability employment and inclusion. By dismantling barriers and advocating for systemic transformation, we can harness the talents and contributions of individuals with disabilities to create a more inclusive workforce.
